Drag a meal photo here, or choose a file
JPEG, PNG or WebP. Photos from your phone camera work best.
How your photo is processed This demo sends your photo to AI providers to generate an estimate. It does not create an account or save a meal history. Provider processing and retention are subject to their policies; see our Privacy Policy for more information. Privacy
How it works
You pick a photo
It is shrunk in your browser before anything is sent, so a 12 megapixel phone photo does not become a 6 MB upload.
A vision model reads the plate
It names what it can identify and judges the portion against the plate and cutlery in frame.
You get a range, not a verdict
Portion size is what a photo hides, so the answer is a band. A wide band means the model is unsure and is saying so.
Questions
How accurate is a calorie estimate from a photo?
A photo cannot show every ingredient, exact portion or amount of cooking oil. AI may misidentify foods or estimate quantities incorrectly. Use the result as a starting point, check it and adjust portions before logging.
Do you keep my photo?
This demo sends your photo to AI providers to generate an estimate. It does not create an account or save a meal history. Provider processing and retention are subject to their policies; see our Privacy Policy for more information.
